About Me

Always learning. Always building. Always curious.

Meet Neel

I'm Neel Das. I'm a marketing professional based in Toronto with a background in engineering, an MBA, and close to a decade of experience across enterprise sales and B2B marketing.

I started my career in enterprise sales at IBM, where I learned how to think about the full customer journey, from first touch to long-term retention. That foundation shaped how I approach marketing today.

Now I work across the full marketing funnel: acquisition, engagement, onboarding, retention, and growth. I use tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Gainsight PX, and Engagement Studio daily.

Over the past year, I've become deeply interested in how AI is changing marketing. Not just the theory, but the practical side. What actually works? What's hype? What should marketers be paying attention to right now? This website is where I explore those questions. I run experiments, write about what I find, and share the results openly.

I'm always open to interesting conversations about growth marketing, demand generation, and AI in the B2B space. If you're working on something exciting in this area, I'd love to connect.

Beyond Marketing

I think the best marketers are people who stay curious beyond their job title.

I work out most days. Sometimes it's the gym, sometimes it's a long run or a walk through the city. I meditate in the mornings. It started as something I was skeptical about and turned into one of the habits I value most. I pay attention to how I eat, not perfectly, but enough that I notice the difference when I slip.

I read a lot of non-fiction. Business, psychology, technology, and whatever else catches my attention. The books that make me think differently are the ones I review on this site.

I travel whenever I get the chance. I always have a camera with me, which is how the "Through My Lens" section of this site came together. Some of my favorite trips have been the unplanned ones.

And I always have a podcast going. I'm drawn to shows about startups, AI, and how people build things from nothing.

If any of this resonates, or if you just want to talk about marketing, AI, books, or travel, feel free to reach out.
